JULIE COCKBURN currently lives and works in Suffolk, UK. She studied at Chelsea College of Art and Central St Martins College of Art and Design, and she has exhibited extensively in the UK, Europe and the United States, including the Museum of Modern Art, Arnhem, NL; Yale Center for British Art, USA; BALTIC 39, Newcastle; New Art Gallery, Walsall; MAC, Birmingham; Nottingham Castle Museum and Art Gallery, Nottingham, UK; and Pôle Image Haute-Normandie, Rouen, France. Her work has been selected for the Jerwood Drawing Prize in 2007, 2010 and 2015; the John Moores Painting Prize 2012 and 2016; and is included in the collections of Yale Center for British Art; The Wellcome Collection; British Land; Caldic Collection; and Pier 24; as well as numerous private collections.

LUCY JONES studied at Camberwell School of Art, followed by the Royal College of Art, where she won a Rome scholarship in 1982. Born in London, she now lives in Ludlow, Shropshire. Her work has featured in group presentations at Cartwright Hall Gallery, Bradford Museum, Bradford; Whitechapel Gallery, London; National Portrait Gallery, London; Scottish National Portrait Gallery, Edinburgh; Compton Verney, Warwickshire; Usher Gallery, Lincoln; and Chelsea Art Gallery, Palo Alto, California; with solo exhibitions including Looking Out, Looking In, Kings Place, London; and Lucy Jones, Chelsea Arts Club, London. Following her first London solo exhibition, two of her paintings were purchased by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. Her work also features in the collections of the Arts Council, London; Clifford Chance, London; Deutsche Bank AG, London; Government Art Collection, London; and Nordstern Collection, Cologne, among others.

CAROL ROBERTSON (b. 1955) lives and works in London. She was Research Fellow in Painting at Cardiff School of Art & Design from 2003 - 2008. Her work has been exhibited extensively around the world, with notable solo exhbitions including Garden Project, Kunstgarten, Graz, Austria (2012); Year, East West October Foundation, Van Abbemuseum, The Netherlands (2006); and Abstract Realities Part 1, National Museum & Gallery, Cardiff (2004). Recent selected group exhibitions include Harvest, Kunstraumlangois, Austria (2016); Ka! Editions, Städtisches Kunstmuseum, Spendhaus, Reutlingen, Germany; and A Collector’s Eye - artworks from the Van Hulten Collection Museum Belvédère, Heerenveen-Oranjewoud, Holland. Since 2001 she has been a Returning Fellow at the Ballinglen Arts Foundation in Ireland. In 2012 she was artist in residence at the Kunstgarten in Graz.
