"Arman began creating prints and multiples early in his career with the intent of providing the general public access to affordable, high quality works of art by a prominent, contemporary artist.     This selection, made available as a group for the first time ever, showcases the artist's dedication to quality and the breadth of his creativity over a 30 year span. From his earliest interests in the deconstruction and accumulation of found objects, to his later focus on the transformation and re-contextualization of musical instruments, the artist's unique contribution to the evolution of 21st century art is on full display."  - Corice Arman

Arman

The artist Arman (b. November 17, 1928, France. d. October 22, 2005, New York.) was recognized internationally as a major contributor to late 20th century art and a main protagonist of the French “Nouveau Realism” school, which was parallel to the American Pop Art movement in the United States during the 1960s. At the core of his artistic statement are his “Accumulations” which employ the use of everyday objects as subjects. Arman’s work is represented in major museums and important public collections worldwide.
